How Daddy Wellness Became Leeds United's Newest Famous Fan (And Why Everyone's Saying "Siuup!")

If you've been anywhere near Elland Road — or Leeds United social media — over the last few weeks, you'll have heard it. Not that w****r Ronaldo's "Siuu". A different one. Louder. Yorkshire-er. "Siuup!"

The story starts a long way from West Yorkshire, with a YouTuber going by Daddy Wellness (real name Richie Lovelace) — self-styled "the world's healthiest degenerate", with millions of followers across YouTube, TikTok and Instagram (@daddywellness). Earlier this year, as a bit for his channel, he spun a wheel to pick a Premier League club at random. It landed on Leeds.

What was supposed to be a one-off stunt turned into something else. Daddy Wellness kept watching — properly watching, both legs of the League Cup tie against Nottingham Forest, laptop open, no cameras rolling. Just a bloke who'd been randomly assigned a football club and decided he actually liked them.

Leeds noticed. On 25 August 2026, in that Forest tie, Daniel James scored and wheeled away into a celebration that — depending who you ask — either looked like a tribute to Woody from Toy Story, or a dead-on impression of Daddy Wellness's signature "Siuup!" call. It was the second one. The clip did the rounds, and just like that, a randomly-assigned fan and a proper cult chant were born.

Somewhere in Manchester, someone is absolutely livid that a bloke who picked his club with a wheel spin has a better goal celebration going than the one it's ripping off. Yorkshire: 1. Portugal's finest export: nil.

It's a very Leeds way to adopt a mascot: daft, sincere, and completely of the moment, all at once. So we made it a shirt — because if "Siuup!" is going to be sung at away ends up and down the country this season, you might as well have the t-shirt to go with it.

Bucket hat on, shades down, drink in hand — full Siuup, entirely Leeds.

Got your own theory on how big "Siuup!" gets by Christmas? Let us know — and keep an eye on Daniel James. If he keeps scoring, this probably isn't the last we hear of it.
